I had seen 2 other drs, that didn't properly diagnose my foot issue. Dr Matt appears to have properly diagnosed my foot issues. I had the first of two surgeries jan 9th, the next sugery on another tendon same foot feb 13th. His ability to pinpoint otherwise improperly diagnosed foot issues was great. But needs to realize, each person has a different pain tolerance, and each person needs to be treated individually and not by a set of standards for everyone.
If you’re looking for a Dr who does foot surgery in which you end up worse then when you went in with now excruciating nerve pain and numbness almost 2 mths later with absolutely no assistance from the Dr or their office except being pushed off to see Dr Matt’s friend -if you can get in touch with them… Dr Matt Wohlgemouth is the doctor for you! Abandoned by this doctor is an understatement.
If your looking for a local Podiatrist, look no further. Dr Matthew is the real deal, very friendly, down to earth and informative. He does his research and told me about options that my insurance would cover 100% that I didn’t know I even had access to (such as custom made work boot insoles). Will def be back!
